Central Valley Top Five at Five: October 2–10, 2026
Old Crow Medicine Show, Grey Day, LOL Comedy, BigXThaPlug, and Dear You: Emo Night — plus dinner at Parma Ristorante.
Your next night out starts here. Old Crow Medicine Show plays Warnors Theatre tonight, Grey Day brings $uicideboy$ and Shoreline Mafia to Save Mart Center on Tuesday, and LOL Comedy offers a free Friday-night laugh in Coarsegold. Add BigXThaPlug at the Fresno Fairgrounds and Dear You: Emo Night at Strummer’s, and you have five reasons to get out across the Central Valley.
1. Old Crow Medicine Show: Union Made Tour
Friday, October 2, 2026 at 7:30 PM Warnors Theatre — 1400 Fulton St., Fresno
Start the list with a live-music night inside downtown Fresno’s historic Warnors Theatre. Old Crow Medicine Show’s Union Made Tour is the homepage’s number-one pick, and the 7:30 PM start gives you a reason to make Friday about an actual show rather than another round of scrolling.
Get downtown with time to park and settle in. If your seats are in the balcony, note that the event listing says it is accessible by stairs only; there is no elevator. Check the event page for the latest admission information before you go.

2. $uicideboy$ present Grey Day Tour 2026 w. Shoreline Mafia & more
Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 6:30 PM Save Mart Center — 2650 E. Shaw Ave., Fresno
Grey Day is the arena-sized pick: $uicideboy$, Shoreline Mafia, and more on the same bill at Save Mart Center. A Tuesday concert can be a good excuse to break up the workweek, but the 6:30 PM start means you should plan the drive and entry before leaving work.
Save Mart Center’s listed bag policy allows clear bags no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches, or a small non-clear clutch no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches. Check the venue’s current rules and show details before heading over. The tour listing also notes a PLUS1 partnership supporting mental-health programs.
3. LOL Comedy Show - October
Friday, October 2, 2026 at 8:00 PM Firehouse Lounge at Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino — 711 Lucky Lane, Coarsegold
Celebrate Andre Covington's birthday and retirement from Q 97.1 FM with a comedy show and after-party at Chukchansi's Firehouse Lounge. Alex Thomas, Chris Cruz, and a special guest join Andre, with shows at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Free entry with a Chukchansi Rewards Card. This is a 21-and-over stop, so bring your ID and rewards card.
Make the Coarsegold drive part of the plan rather than an afterthought. Meet your group before the show, confirm current admission requirements with the venue, and arrange your ride home if drinks are part of the evening.

4. BigXThaPlug
Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM Fresno Fairgrounds — 1121 S. Chance Ave., Fresno
BigXThaPlug takes the fourth spot with a Saturday-night performance at the Fresno Fairgrounds. If your group wants a live-music plan for the following weekend, this is the date to put in the chat now: October 10, not tonight.
The show is at the fairgrounds’ Paul Paul Theater. The fair’s official page lists online concert tickets at $51, $61.50, and $71.50, including fees. Fair admission is required and sold separately. Leave time for traffic, parking, and entry, and buy through the fair’s official ticket links rather than an unverified resale page.

5. DEAR YOU: EMO NIGHT (Early show)
Friday, October 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM Strummer’s — 833 E. Fern Ave., Fresno
Dear You returns to Strummer’s with emo and pop-punk favorites for an early-show Friday. The venue’s listing describes a night that has been running for nine years, built around the songs you already know rather than a seated headliner set.
The listed ticket range is $8.18–$11.27; availability and checkout totals can change. Check the ticket page for the current price and entry rules, and keep the 7:00 PM start in mind when arranging dinner in the Tower District.

Restaurant Spotlight: Parma Ristorante
Make dinner its own stop at Parma Ristorante in Fresno. Opened in 1999 by Elena Corsini Mastro, the restaurant brings the flavors of her hometown of Parma to the San Joaquin Valley, with pasta made from scratch at the center of its menu.
Start with Tagliere di Parma, a sharing plate of cured meats, Parmigiano, fried bread, grilled polenta, and focaccia. For pasta, consider Tortelli di Zucca, filled with pumpkin and served in brown butter and sage, or Lasagna alla Parmigiana, layered with Bolognese, béchamel, and Parmesan. The official menu also lists homemade desserts, including lemon mascarpone cheesecake.
Parma is a dinner destination, not a promised quick stop next door to any of these venues. Allow time for the meal and the drive to your show. Check the official menu and call (559) 432-3389 to ask about reservations and current availability.
